We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations and Communications executive to join our expanding commercial team. You will provide operational support to the team to help execute the company’s business development strategy and support the marketing and communications required to bring the Fleet Space Technologies IoT solution and brand to life. The role is both an external facing and internal role, with the candidate having the ability to build and maintain impeccable working relationships in both areas.
You are a self-starter with a curious mind, a collaborative attitude with a sense of ownership. Great attention to detail and superb sales, communication and project management skills are a must to ensure exceptional execution of plans.
Sales Operations & Customer Experience
Support the commercial team with proposal creation, pitch documentation and sales procurement process;
Maintaining and update NDAs, customer lists, pipeline and sales roadmap files and databases;
Produce weekly sales roadmap and forecasting reports, based on updated pipeline and database files
Liaise internally for any customer billing, procurement or contract related issues
Co-ordinate travel and logistics requirements
Assisting with and respond to product based consumer enquiries
Collaborate with other teams and colleagues, keeping all involved informed of accurate client information and discussions
Discuss and book customer appointments with customers for business development team members and to discuss and progress pilot and deployment progress
Maintain a working knowledge of Fleets products and processes and demonstrate initiative in identifying ways to continually increase knowledge
Document and keep up to date customer communications, projects and milestones in the CRM
Actively manage customer expectations with regards to delivery performance and lead times, while ensuring prioritisation of orders to meet customer requirements
Make proactive recommendations, taking ownership for driving performance and process improvements
Prepare, review and create customer proposals and quotes
Oversee and ensure efficient delivery of customer orders and revisions to orders according to customer requirements
Maintain visibility on ongoing project activities as well as pipeline opportunities
Maintain website content so it is up to date, track website analytics and report monthly
Prepare reports and analysis of data from campaigns and inbound/outbound marketing activities
Support and implement the content strategy across our digital channels including News, blogs, social media and electronic Direct Mail (eDM)
Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of internal, external and trade show events
Ensure all marketing materials are up to date, with templates and versions easily accessible and well organised
Support management of client from initial sales acceptance through to project completion ensuring customers are managed with respect and empathy.
Ability to collaborate with across teams and be able to create strong internal networks to deliver the ultimate customer experience and be a strong brand ambassador
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in sales operations, marketing and/or sales support
Strong administrative skills, including diary management, travel management, and email management; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated exceptional ability to prioritise time and tasks within a busy environment and are someone who can be resilient in times of change and pressure
Self-directed and motivated with the ability to work autonomously without the presence of a manager
Have strong communication skills (both written and oral) and exceptional attention to detail.
